LC to LC Multimode 50/125 OM4 Duplex Yd 2.00mm

The OM4 cable significantly extends the maximum distance for 1Gbps networks. While a standard 50/125 cable (OM2) supports a maximum length of 550 meters, the OM4 cable extends this to 1100 meters. For 10Gbps networks (10GBaseSR), OM2 and even OM1 fibers can be used, but the maximum distance is reduced to 82 meters with OM2 and 33 meters with OM1 (62.5/125). For 40Gbps and 100Gbps networks, only OM3 (100m) and OM4 (125m) are supported.

OM4 is backward compatible with OM3 and OM5.
