Our Visit to NovaStar Headquarters in Xi’an

Microbus & NovaStarShop were once again invited to Xi’an — this time to visit the new NovaStar Park and experience firsthand how far the NovaStar ecosystem has evolved.

This is not our first time visiting NovaStar — we have been partners for many years. In fact, we’ve worked with NovaStar technology long before NovaStar Park even existed. The company has grown immensely, and this trip shows exactly how fast things are moving.

Starting the Day — Breakfast + Arrival

We started the morning at the hotel with dumplings, chili, and coffee — then Donovan picked us up and drove us directly to NovaStar Park.

NovaStar Park Overview — This Place Is a Mini City

NovaStar Park is not “just an office.”
It’s almost a self-contained NovaStar “campus,” consisting of:

R&D building

Headquarters

Manufacturing center

Innovation building

Employee apartments

Soccer field, basketball court, gym, swimming pool

A very impressive on-site cafeteria system

The Showrooms — Cinema, XR, Calibration… and the Unicorn

This is where the real fun begins.

We toured multiple showrooms — each focused on different NovaStar verticals:

Cinema solutions

XR / Virtual Production setups

Calibration / advanced image quality

Real Olympic LED modules

AV over IP control room with Pixelhue integration

Paperless meeting room concept

Massive “future living room” LED TV

And yes — the adorable animated unicorn on the curved LED screen

Lunchtime Inside NovaStar Park

For lunch we joined the NovaStar staff in the cafeteria — different floors serve different types of food.

Visitors get official meal tickets.
Employees just scan their phone or face recognition.

One day we enjoyed noodles on the 2nd floor.
Another day we went to the 3rd floor with more variety.

Weather was perfect — so we took our trays outside to the terrace with Donovan & Robinson.

Office Tour — Quiet Midday Break + Back to Work

After lunch we walked around the bridge between building 2 & 3 — where Robinson even showed some soccer skills on the pitch.

Then we returned to the offices.

Just like many companies in China — NovaStar employees take a short midday rest.
Lights dim. Offices quiet.
Then the workday continues.

Xi’an Tourism — Because You Can’t Come Here and Not Explore

Outside of the NovaStar Park, we also visited some of Xi’an’s world-class historical sites:

City center and food streets

Evening fountain show

Xi’an remains one of China’s most beautiful and culturally deep cities.
